Blue Light Hub

West Ashland Fire Station, the newest in the Service, forms part of the Blue-Light Hub in Milton Keynes. It opened on Tuesday 30th June 2020 replacing Bletchley Fire Station and Great Holm Fire Station, bringing together all the crews, staff and fire appliances under one roof.
The Blue-Light Hub is also home to teams from Thames Valley Police and South Central Ambulance Service, which create opportunities for collaborative working with their emergency service partners.
The fire station provides full-time cover across a vast area of Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. In addition to responding to incidents, the crews proactively seek to protect the community through prevention activities in the area.

UK Astronomy is  a registered UK charity focused on educating and inspiring people about astronomy. It offers various activities like public talks, stargazing events, and educational workshops, and provides resources and guides for those interested in learning about the night sky. UK Astronomy aims to make astronomy accessible and engaging for everyone, from beginners to more experienced stargazers.
The charity was founded by Ross Hockham, who wanted to create a welcoming space for people to learn about the night sky.
