Staff Talent Show

On Monday 14th October the staff of Camphill Milton Keynes had a talent show in the Chrysalis Theatre.
It showcased their broad spectrum of talents, everyone who stepped on stage was a winner. It was an incredible evening, from singing to dancing, swimming, and delighting peoples taste buds with culinary creations. A special thanks to Eva for organising.

Celebrating the 100th issue of the Camphill Chronicle

These are some photographs of the community celebrating the 100th issue of the Camphill Chronicle in the Chrysalis Theatre.
A chronicle is a historical account of events arranged in chronological order, as in a timeline. Typically, equal weight is given for historically important events and local events, the purpose being the recording of events that occurred, seen from the perspective of the chronicler.

Trip to Vienna

In August, I visited Vienna for a couple of nights. I went by plane with my sister and her husband. We stayed in a hotel. I wanted to visit Vienna because there is a clock museum there. My day was a clock maker. Apart from visiting the clock museum, we managed to go to the cinema, eat lot's of nice food, and even go on a horse carriage ride.

We also went on a boat trip and managed to sail past a Buddhist Peace Pagoda. I liked this because there is one in Milton Keynes.

Vienna, Austria’s capital, lies in the country’s east on the Danube River. Its artistic and intellectual legacy was shaped by residents including Mozart, Beethoven and Sigmund Freud. The city is also known for its Imperial palaces, including Schönbrunn, the Habsburgs’ summer residence. In the Museums Quartier district, historic and contemporary buildings display works by Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt and other artists.
