A Christmas Carol

On Friday 16th and Saturday 17th December, 'A Christmas Carol' was performed by Tread the Boards Theatre Group at the Chrysalis Theatre in Camphill Milton Keynes. This was a full-length drama adapted by Tom Smith.
A Christmas Carol in Prose, Being a Ghost-Story of Christmas, commonly known as A Christmas Carol, was first published as a novella 174 years ago on 19th December 1843. It was written by Charles Dickens.
A Christmas Carol is a Victorian morality tale of an old and bitter miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, who undergoes a profound experience of redemption over the course of one evening. Mr Scrooge is a financier/money-changer who has devoted his life to the accumulation of wealth. He holds anything other than money in contempt, including friendship, love and the Christmas season. When four ghosts visit Scrooge, he is forced to look at his life, the past, the present and the future, to witness the effect that he has on others.
