The Azathoth Tarot Deck (Created By Nemo)

The Azathoth Tarot is Nemo's homage to the great Howard Phillips Lovecraft and is intended to be a deck that might have existed in the Lovecraftian universe. Perhaps even used by the witch, Keziah Mason, or old wizard Whateley. Thus they carry forward the Eldrich atmosphere that Lovecraft weaved so well.
Detailed pen and ink drawings create this full 78 card Tarot deck which comes cradled snugly in a heavy lidded presentation box.
The Azathoth Tarot deck is 3 and 1/2 inches wide by 5 inches high. It is printed on premium quality card stock and provided with a smooth plastic finish.

Raspberry Pi Pico

Raspberry Pi Pico is Raspberry Pi's first microcontroller board, designed especially for physical computing. Microcontrollers are a different type of device than Single Board Computers (like the Raspberry Pi 4 and previous generations of Pi), they don't run an operating system and they are typically programmed to do just one task - though that task can be pretty intricate and exciting! They're perfect for experimenting with hardware and using as the brains of custom devices, machines and inventions.

It can be easily reprogrammed over USB from a Raspberry Pi or other computer using the C/C++ SDK or the official MicroPython port.

Pet therapy

On Sunday 6th March residents of Camphill Milton Keynes met one of the staff's horses.

Pet therapy is a guided interaction between a person and a trained animal. It also involves the animal’s handler. The purpose of pet therapy is to help someone recover from or cope with a health problem or mental disorder.

Dogs and cats are most commonly used in pet therapy. However, fish, guinea pigs, horses, and other animals that meet screening criteria can also be used. The type of animal chosen depends on the therapeutic goals of a person’s treatment plan.

Pet therapy is also referred to as animal-assisted therapy (AAT). AAT is sometimes confused with animal-assisted activities (AAA). AAT is a formal, structured set of sessions that helps people reach specific goals in their treatment. AAA involves more casual meetings in which an animal and its handler interact with one or more people for comfort or recreation.

Table tennis

These are photographs of residents and staff from Camphill Milton Keynes playing table tennis in the crypt which is next to the Chrysalis Theatre.

Table tennis, also known as ping-pong and whiff-whaff, is a sport in which two or four players hit a lightweight ball, also known as the ping-pong ball, back and forth across a table using small solid rackets. The game takes place on a hard table divided by a net. Except for the initial serve, the rules are generally as follows: players must allow a ball played toward them to bounce once on their side of the table and must return it so that it bounces on the opposite side at least once. A point is scored when a player fails to return the ball within the rules. Play is fast and demands quick reactions. Spinning the ball alters its trajectory and limits an opponent's options, giving the hitter a great advantage.
