The Sacred Flame
During March 30th and April 2nd there was a play performed in the Chrysalis Theatre in Camphill Milton Keynes by residents and co-workers called The Sacred Flame.
This play has been performed in Camphill Milton Keynes at least once before. It has a universal theme of self-transformation and growth through life experiences which are often difficult and challenging. But particularly now when religious fundamentalism is increasingly wreaking havoc with a lack of tolerance for differences, it is a reminder that no one religion is the 'correct' one.
There were two main characters in this play. The first was called Raniero, who rides a horse with a candle which he does not want blown out, and the second main character was his wife Francesca.
