Holiday to Camphill Botton Village

Camphill Botton Village is home to around 280 people including 130 with special needs. The village and its five farms nestle in Danby Dale in the beautiful North York Moors National Park. It’s not far to the towns of Teesside in one direction and Whitby, Scarborough and the Yorkshire coast in the other.
From 24th July to 4th August a group of residents and co-workers went on holiday to Camphill Botton Village. We stayed in some accommodation called the Tree Houses which is used by Eurythmy students and rented out to other people in the summer.
We bought all our food in the general store at Botton and regularly went to the cafe there.
We also went to the beach in Scarborough. The people who went were Andrew and Linda, Mark, Joe, Fiona, Peter and me.
