On 4th April there was an event held in the Chrysalis Theatre in Camphill Milton Keynes called ‘Question Time Milton Keynes’. This was similar to a radio programme called ‘Any Questions?’ which is a topical debate programme that is hosted by Jonathan Dimbleby (there was also an ‘Any Questions?’ episode held in the Chrysalis Theatre in 2010).
The Confirmed Line up who were people who work in politics,
and they were:
Presenter David Pibworth who is the director of Milton
Keynes Theatre of Comedy.
Emily Darlington for Labour
Councillor Ric Brackenbury for Lib Dem
Stuart Moore (PPC) for UKIP
Catriona Morris for Conservative
Alan Frances for Green Party
Sean McDermott Member of the Public
Before the show started, the audience had the chance to
write any questions they had down on a piece of paper to put into a box for the
panel to read out and to answer.
There were many question including ones about
how the local bus service is run and how student university places are funded. |
