On August 6th, there was the 72nd Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony of Hiroshima Day.
There was a short ceremony in front of the Peace Pagoda, Willen Lake, Milton Keynes. This was in memory of the victims followed by the floating of candle lit lanterns on Willen Lake.
The ceremony was to reflect on the horrors of war in an atomic age and to let people pray for peace and harmony between all people and all nations.
