On Tuesday 25th February, residents and co-workers from Camphill Milton Keynes celebrated Shrove Tuesday (or Pancake Day). The expression "Shrove Tuesday" comes from the word shrive, meaning "confess" so people can make a special point of considering what wrongs they need to confess.
To celebrate this day, we held a pancake race. Each participant had to carry a pancake in a frying pan, and while running had to toss their pancakes and catch them in the frying pan. There were several races done until there was a race with all the best runners.
