On Thursday 21st April and Friday 22nd April, Tread the Boards Theatre Group performed 'Bedroom Farce' at the Chrysalis Theatre in Camphill Milton Keynes.
In Bedroom Farce Trevor and Susannah, whose marriage is on the rocks, inflict their miseries on their nearest and dearest: three couples whose own relationships are tenuous at best. Taking place sequentially in the three beleaguered couples’ bedrooms during one endless, traumatic Saturday night, beds, tempers, and domestic order are ruffled, leading the participants to a hilarious and touching finale.
Tread the Boards (TTB) was founded in Newport Pagnell Bucks in 1986. The Milton Keynes drama group, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. TTB marked this by performing Bedroom Farce (which was it's first ever production) in the Chrysalis Theatre.
This play was written by Alan Ayckbourn.
The group is open, with all members having an equal opportunity to participate in it's activities. Anyone interested in joining should come along on Mondays at 7.30pm at Wavendon Gate Pavilion or visit the TTB website as it is always open to new members on or off the stage.
