The MK Fringe Festival happened from Wednesday 13th
until Saturday 23rd July. The programme for this event included the
theatre, music, visual arts, comedy, dance, and outdoor arts.
There were events at the Chrysalis Theatre in Camphill
Milton Keynes and I went to one called ‘Buddhism and Cats’ which was a stand-up
comedy by somebody called Simon Caine. If you got your idea of adulthood from
F.R.I.E.N.D.S. but reality had not lived up to the expectation, if you lived
more in your head than in the moment and if you felt connected online and
profoundly disconnected from people offline, then this was the show for you.
I really enjoyed going to Buddhism and Cats which lasted for
one hour.
There were slightly less than 50 events this year with venues across Milton Keynes. Milton Keynes festival Fringe will be celebrating its 50th birthday next year.
