On Friday 7th April, Tread the Board theatre
company performed a play called ‘Reading between the lines’ at the Chrysalis
Theatre in Camphill Milton Keynes.
This is what it was about:
Professor Andrew Stokes, returns from a foreign study visit in time to help his wife Rachel organise the village literary festival, based at Saint Fabian’s church hall. Star attraction is to be famous romantic novelist, Lydia Bray. The arrival of Andrew’s oldest friend, a professional gambler, lothario and all-round liability, sets the scene for a day of embarrassment and confusion.
