On Tuesday 24th July, members of the theatre
workshop took part in the Milton Keynes International Festival 2018.
Members of the theatre workshop took part in the Back to
Back theatre: The Democratic Set MK which was filmed in Queen’s Court,
centre:mk.
The Democratic Set was a film set that was put up in the
centre of Milton Keynes for three days in Milton Keynes.
The ‘Set’ was a simple three-sided box where we created an
improvised performance within which was also recorded.
Founded over 30 years ago Back to Back Theatre are based in
Geelong, Australia and are a globally recognised theatre company.
Back to Back Theatre edited our performance into a 15 second
clip which featured in a short film which brought together lots of separate
performances. The resulting film featured people from all walks of life across
Milton Keynes and was called ‘The Democratic Set MK’.
